Alexandra Sigmarsdóttir (lex6i), b. 1996, is an Icelandic postmedia artist whose work explores the intersections of identity, technology and the metaphysical. Rooted in a techno punk ethos, Alex deconstructs existing systems, hacking them apart to reveal new possibilities for self-expression, transformation, and magic, by disolving the fluid boundaries between the organic and the synthetic, the individual and the collective, the real and the virtual.

Through interactive installations, generative systems, and conceptual media work, Alex engages with themes of cyber witchcraft, digital identity, and the evolving relationship between humans and technology. She views technology not as a sterile tool but as an extension of the self—an organism in its own right, capable of symbiosis, reflection, and transformation.

Starting from a childhood facination for technology and a inclination towards creative expression through writing and drawing, Alex taught herself programming and game modding as a teenager, leading her to creating generative systems for visuals and audio, aswell as writing poetry and producing music. Now she's expanding on this foundation with a more conceptual study at The Royal Academy of the arts in the Hague where she is persuing a bachelor in Interactive Media (2022), where she has received high praise for her works . She has exhibited works at places such as The Cinekid Medialab festival and the National Library of the Netherlands.
