Digital Mirror is an interactive installation which emulates the feeling of looking in the mirror, with the added functionality of being able to change your appearance. This project is an exploration of these newly emerging meta-physical spaces that we increasingly inhabit online. While these environments allow for unparalleled freedom of expression and identity, the impact they have on our sense of self and community is yet to be understood. This work aims to encourage reflection on identity, digital presence and the influence of digital environments on our sense of community and self-identity. This project was created for the Cinekid Medialab festival 2024 Production Assistant: Toke Nielsen
